Due to heavy rainfall at the beginning of February this year, some streams and rivers flooded some areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina (especially in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina: municipalities of Busovača, Kakanj, Novi Travnik, Hadžići, Kiseljak, surroundings of Sarajevo, the city of Zenica). Some bridges and alternative routes have been destroyed or heavily damaged.

In cooperation and with the support of Coca-Cola HBC B-H d.o.o. Sarajevo, the Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina ,through its structure, has distributed drinking water (324 packages of 0.5 l each). The water was distributed in the places Jehovac, Gomionica and Gromiljak, which residents have been affected by floods.

The Red Cross of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has also distributed a certain number of water pumps, dehumidifiers, shovels, trolleys, rubber boots, blankets, protective masks and HTZ gloves, hygienic and food items in the most affected areas.
