On that occasion , all attendees were addressed by the UN Resident Coordinator in Bosnia and Herzegovina Mrs. Sezin Sinanoglu, Minister of Security, Mr.. Dragan Mektic, Minister for Human Rights and Refugees Mrs. Semiha Borovac, sub-regional coordinator of the International Organization for Migration in the Western Balkans, Peter Van der Auweraert, UNHCR's Regional Representative for Southeast Europe, Ms Anne-Christine Eriksson. As it was highlighted, BiH and  Western Balkans have significant experience in the field of migration (internally displaced persons due to war, natural disasters ...), which can be helpful in discussions on this topic , at the global level.
