On the occasion of marking the 140th anniversary of the existence and work of the Croatian Red Cross, the delegation of the Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina, composed of Mr. Rajko Lazić, a President, Mr. Branko Leko, Secretary General and Ms. Žaklina Ninković, a coordinator for international cooperation and assistant Secretary General , attended the ceremony and a humanitarian concert , organized in a Croatian National Theater in Zagreb on 21.10.2018.
Marking of this important jubilee was also attended by highest officials of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the President and Secretary General of the International Federation of Red cross / Red Crescent Societies, a representative of a President and a member of the Assembly of the International Committee of the Red Cross, and representatives of the Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies of the following countries . Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Denmark, China, Hungary, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey and representatives of the International Life Saving of Europe.
Next day, on 22.10.2018. the delegation of RCSBIH jointly with colleagues from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and National societies of Montenegro, Romania and Spain visited the headquarters of the Croatian Red Cross in the morning hours. On that occasion, the President and Secretary-General of RCSBIH handed over a present to the President and Executive director of the Croatian Red Cross, with a wish to continue its successful work and activities.
