20.th Federal competition within Mine awareness program was held on Saturday 08.12.2018. in Gornji Vakuf – Uskoplje. This competition is traditionally held during Mine Awareness week ( 03.-10.12.), and supported by ICRC.

Competitors were winning teams from cantonal competitions.
Placement of winning teams is as follows:
I place: Primary school Silvije Strahimir Kranjčević Sarajevo
II place: PS Tojšići Kalesija
III place: PS Suljo Čilić Jablanica

All competitors received letter of appreciation, and winners were awarded diplomas, cups and medals including tablet Tesla for the first place, Bluetooth speakers for second and external batteries for mobile devices for third place.
Republic competition of primary school students from the Mine Risk Warning Program was held on 14. December in Pale , in the premises of the Red Cross of Republic of Srpska .The competition was held during Mine awareness week which is marked every year in the period from 8-15. December. The competition brought together nine teams, winners of regional competitions, which were preceded by school and municipal / city competitions.

The first place was won by the team of the Municipal Red Cross Pelagićevo (Vaso Pelagić Elementary School) with 23 points . The second place was won by Derventa Red Cross (Nikola Tesla Elementary School) team with 22 points, while the third place was taken by the team of the Višegrad Red Cross (Vuk Karadžić Elementary School) with 21 points.

The first team was awarded a ten-day holiday in Bečići, thanks to the Public Fund for Child Protection of Republika Srpska. The second and third place teams were awarded with valuable prizes for demonstrated good knowledge and success in Republic competition. All participants and instructors received letters of appreciation and winning teams received medals and cups.
Six winning teams earned the right to participate in the state competition , that will be organized by the Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina and held on the occasion of the World Anti-Mine Day in April 2019.
